High!

Well, I took an eency weency toke from my vaporizor. God dammit, why doesn't everyone use this thing? Your stash will last forever, man!

But yeah, this is the paranoia-causing stuff. You were right, mom. Haha.

Well, it's probably a combination of both drugs' paranoia-causing effects. DXM's stimulation of the imagination, and weed's increase of vividness of the imagination. They kind of do both things, but to the former and latter degrees. I hope you understand that because I gotta go feel the cold. Brrr, ahhh!

Humor

Well, it's been a while since I've only been on DXM. It was a steady habit to add marijuana to the experience I guess.

Anyway, it seems like your sense of humor is a difficult thing to balance when you're concentrating on a bunch of other things. I've been able to let off steam by acting completely crazy around my parents. Since I can't do that much now, I have to find it somewhere else. Sounds like the definition of growing up to me. Gettin' some friends insteada your parents.
Yeah...friends. Social anxiety makes that area pretty nasty.

Maybe this has something to do with me "smiling a lot". I'm probably suppressing my sense of humor.

Creativity IV

That seemed a lot like acid (at least from what I've read). Wow. Maybe that amount of DXM is what gets me there.

Anyway, the "perfect" and "normal" happiness thing. Normal happiness would probably be the constitutional right to happiness they say we all deserve. But I've found perfect happiness. And I found it through a drug that could also possibly get me closer to normal happiness.
I'm a recreational drug user who needs a recreational drug as a medicine. Can I have it?

I don't want to swear off my recreational drug use (as opposed to medical use), it's not an addiction. It's a hobby. I get bored. It wouldn't be that dangerous if I had some safer stuff to work with (some kind of opiate!).
Yeah, they're addictive. But I think I'm mature enough to not abuse them.
And marijuana? Come on...

Creativity III

Creativity time! Or epiphany time. I don't know what this is.

The state of mind I'm in now seems like the perfect state of happiness.
Opiates and weed.
Endorphins and Cannabinoids.

A lot like Nitrous Oxide, but less metallic and empty and more warm and full.

Now it's changing. I think a little bit of DXM and lots of weed is perfect. I'm just overdoing the DXM part.

Where do you draw the line between "perfect" and "normal" happiness?

Let me finish this train of thought later.

Jeez, I didn't know I'd trip out this much. Hah, I guess that's what I should have expected though.

Another Creativity post comin' up.

Boredom

I'd like to say "Dammit, I just gave in to my addiction. I was doing so well!", but that didn't really happen. Yeah, I've been DXM-free for exactly a week and I had a shot of Zicam about 2 hours ago, but "giving in to my addiction" isn't the right way to put it.
I was just bored! I have nothing to god damn do.

I figured there was always hope when it came to people, but they aren't becoming more like me as I age, which is something I thought I could rely on. So yeah, that's what most takes up college kids' time, right? People?

You can forget that with me. What else is there? Drugs. Perfect for solo fun. I just wish I had some fucking healthier ones!

Anyway, the point is, I'm a really bored person. And forget hobbies, it's like I'm desensitized to life...
Drugs...

Oh, and I realize that earlier I'd kinda sworn off DXM for medical marijuana, but fuck it. Boredom is a form of pain, and I'm sick of it. The marijuana, if I even get it, will take forever to get here. I'm tired of waiting for something good to happen. I'm tired of showing fake smiles and kissing ass for what I want.
Just hook me up to a heroin IV drip for the rest of my life and I won't bother you.

Repealing Prohibition

Ok, let's get back on track. Some arguments for legalizing all drugs.

  • Victimless crime - Using a drug in private is a victimless crime. And if it's harming you, you should still have the freedom to do it; it's not illegal to sit at home and constantly pound your head with a hammer.

  • Cognitive liberty - I should be able to be in any state of mind I want to be in. This includes when driving, flying an airplane, or doing surgery. Problems like intoxicated driving or being high on the job should be dealt with directly instead of focusing on the drugs. Some people can do complicated things while high. Think of a smart person dumbing himself down a bit to do average work. Now think of some dumb person doing the same thing, being dumbed down even more to do terrible work with more risk of making mistakes. The smart person is fine (if you like average work), while the dumb person should be fired.
I'll admit drunk driving is a little more straightforward though.

  • Business - I hear marijuana is a great cash crop. I also hear there's a lot of money being wasted on the War on Drugs. Tick-tock.

  • The black market - For the most part, it would be gone. Money would be diverted from criminals to businessmen. What's worse, chaotic murder or capitalism? No, that's not a trick question.

  • Easier to study drugs with medical potential - Scheduled drugs are harder to access for studying. I can see so much potential in a lot of them. At least give researchers more rights.

  • Spirituality and personal benefit - Some drugs can fulfill people spiritually as well as improve their lives (fixing problems that aren't medical, but still personally beneficial).

  • Racism - Drug laws are used to oppress minorities. Look it up.

Even if you throw all these arguments out the window, you'd still have a government program with a ridiculous base and history. More on that later.

Aww, look at those. They don't look so bad, do thy? Not the spawn of the devil. They're actually kinda cute.

Medical Marijuana III

Well, after realizing getting an ID card takes a pretty damn long time, I think I'll push this topic to the side for a bit.

But you should get active! Pot can help a lot of people, believe it or not.
